New York State Police Ask For Help Finding Serial ShopRite Bandits
A series of larcenies that have taken place over the past several months is leading officials to ask for the public's help identifying two suspects.
According to a press release, it appears the larcenies have occurred at multiple grocery store locations in one area. There aren't too many other details available as of now, though law enforcement obviously wants to locate these suspects before any more thefts take place.
Where in the Hudson Valley Have the Suspects Struck?
The New York State Police in Poughkeepsie said in a press release that the larcenies happened over the past several months at a number of ShopRite locations in central Dutchess County, NY. The surveillance photos provided don't reveal a lot, though you can see that the suspects in question are two young men wearing winter clothes and stocking hats. Both can see be seen pushing shopping carts, with one cart containing several items. There is no information provided as of yet just how much merchandise the suspects have allegedly stolen.
According to the information available, the duo appears to have only hit ShopRite locations in the area.

Police say a 24-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with DWI after an incident early Friday. Luckily, no one was hurt though. It's another example of a person who allegedly had a few too many drinks and still decided to get behind the wheel.
The Suffern Police Department shared on the Facebook page that the incident happened early Friday morning on Route 202. Police were called after the vehicle struck an embankment in Haverstraw and completely rolled over. Police say the suspect somehow was able to continue driving the vehicle even though it had suffered heavy damage during the impact. Officials say the vehicle was seen swerving over the centerline of Wayne Ave in the village of Suffern, with no side-view mirrors and broken side windows.
The driver was soon pulled over after being spotted by an officer. Police did not indicate exactly how much the man had to drink.
