While there are no stats to back up my claim, I think I found the most dangerous road in all of New York. It has to do with the turn that you have to make when the road ends.

I live in Hamburg and every day I head home I take Abel Street and make a left on Rogers Road. This might be the most dangerous left turn you have to make in the entire state.

There are a couple of problems with the turn. First, you are on a slight bend on Abel Street so it makes it hard to see if traffic is coming from the right side of Rogers Road. The second issue is that the bushes and trees also block your view. Check out the photo I snapped while sitting at the stop sign.

As you can see, you sit back from the road edge and the trees don't give you a clear view on the right. That causes you to creep up a bit and puts you in the land for cars coming from the left.

The good news is that I have not personally seen any accidents at this intersection but every time I make this left turn, I triple and quadruple check to make sure no cars are coming from the right.

So if you are ever in Hamburg and find yourself making a left on Rogers Road from Abel Street, give yourself some extra time to make sure the coast is clear.
