The convenient, corner spot on East Chester Street in Kingston, NY was the home to different eateries.

For many years, Blondie’s Trolley Diner was open in this location and served the community. According to Google Maps, this same spot was once known as Third Trail Diner in 2012.

Today, we can visit a new diner along with its late night eatery option in the former Blondie’s Trolley Diner.

For months, Hudson Valley residents were wondering what would take over this popular location. There was sign out of front of the previous diner that stated,

"The Trolley Diner" "Kennedy Fried Chicken"

The restaurant was also painted a different color which gave it a new appearance, bright orange!

Fast forward to September 2025, there’s a new sign up highlighting their grand opening along with an official sign of business. Foodies have already stopped by to check out this local eatery.

The Trolley Diner/Kennedy Fried Chicken is now open in the former Blondie’s Trolley Diner.
