Before this location was a cocktail bar and distillery, it was once the home to Toad Holly Pub in 2012, according to Google Maps.

Google Maps included a picture of a for sale sign on this property in 2017. In 2024, foodies can visit one of the newest businesses in the Ulster County, NY area.

This new cocktail bar and distillery is located in the Rosendale, Tillson, NY area. Locals are excited that they don't have to travel far to enjoy cocktails and delicious food. They opened on November 15, 2024.

On their Facebook, Joppenbergh Gap Distilling shared that they are a 

"Southern style distillery, cocktail bar. Reviving the spirit of Rosendale."

In September 2024, they provided an update on Facebook with a picture of their new sign and also sharing,

"looking forward to reviving the Spirits of Rosendale. Watch for our Grand Opening….."

This new business has such a unique name, I'm aware that Joppenbergh Mountain is located in Rosendale, NY. It would be interesting to see if this was one of the reasons why the name was chosen for this new cocktail bar and distillery.
