Spring has arrived and mother nature has agreed to give the warm weather vibes, as we deserve! Thankfully, we can spend more time outdoors now.

We can also visit our favorite walking and hiking trails, enjoy our recreational sports and more. There are so many parks that we can visit within the Hudson Valley, usually for free!

As for local parks within Ulster County, we can check out from Kingston Point Park to Ulster Landing Park, Hasbrouck Park and more. There's a popular park that is now offering something for everyone to get invovled in.

New Amenity Now Open To The Public At Popular Ulster County Park

The City of Kingston made an exciting post on social media! We have another reason to visit this popular park in Ulster County. A new amenity is now available for us to enjoy and will allow us to connect with the community more.

The City of Kingston highlighted that the Loughran Park’s tennis and pickleball area is now open to the public! This is perfect timing as it’s officially spring and the weather continues to warm up. More than ever, we can be outside, get moving and enjoy this new amenity.

What Features Can We Enjoy At These New Courts At Kingston's Loughran Park?

The City of Kingston included that the Loughran Park Tennis/ Pickleball Facility Improvements Project was completed by Arold Construction Company. They also included,

“Pickleball sound mitigation was part of this project, including installing sound barriers at the pickleball courts”

They truly thought of everything when it came to this recent project. They had to get rid of the previous tennis/pickleball courts, add fencing, new courts and more.

Not only is this something that we can enjoy with ourselves or other outdoor enthusiasts but we can also reserve the courts for events. Be sure to contact the Parks & Recreation office to book these newly added courts.
