Community Excited As Two New Amenities Open At This Sullivan County Park

There are so many fun and exciting things to experience in the Hudson Valley! It's great because each county has its own vibe and something for everyone.

What's New In The Sullivan County Community This Summer?

Within Sullivan County, one of our favorite beach and park has officially reopened. The Lake Superior State Park in Bethel is a place where we can go to cool off this summer. On site, we can also go kayaking, enjoy a picnic and more!

Also in Sullivan County, a new playground and dog park opened at the same location. Parents and fur parents can now bring their kids to this outdoor, summer destination to have some fun. We can visit the East Mongaup River Park in Monticello to experience it for ourselves!

There's a park within Wurtsboro that had a ribbon cutting ceremony for it's new amenities available for us to enjoy this summer as well.

Community Excited As Two New Amenities Open At This Sullivan County Park

On social media, local organizations and members of the community were posting pictures of an event in Sullivan County. This highlighted the ribbon cutting ceremony at Canal Park in Wurtsboro.

The Wurtsboro Board of Trade and Village of Wurtsboro were inviting the community to this event and shared pictures of it's success. We can now experience the new pickleball and basketball courts at Canal Park in Wurtsboro!

Local artists were also highlighted at this event as their murals are now available for us to see on site. The community shared their excitement on social media of how they can walk to this location and how its a great addition to the area.

What Else Can We Experience in Wurtsboro, NY?

All throughout the Sullivan County area, we can take in the natural beauty. During the summer, there are so many lush green trees to see and walking trails to explore including Long Path Trail.

In the village of Wurtsboro, we can stroll through different stores that are locally owned. The Canal Towne Emporium and Crystal Connection are two of my favorite businesses to go to when I'm in the area.
