Modena Service Area Adds Two New Food Favorites For Travelers

Highway service areas are always something that we are happy to see when traveling! This allows us to stop off to get some gas, something to drink, eat and of course, use the bathroom. There may be times that we want to chill out for a while or even grab a souvenir.

What Do We Know About The Modena Service Area?

According to the New York State Thruway Authority, The Modena Service Area is located off of I-87, New York State Thruway. 

This service area is open 24 hours a day! On site, they have the Applegreen C-Store and Taste NY. There is also a Burger King, Popeyes and Dunkin.

On site, we can stop at Sunoco which provides gas for this service area.

What Amenities Are Offered At The Modena Service Area?

If you didn’t know, there are amenities offered at service areas within New York State.

According to the New York State Thruway Authority, the Modena Service Area has a Digital Tourism Kiosk and a dog walking space. Although it’s seasonal, there is a farm market as well which is a nice touch! This service area also features an outdoor seating area and playground.
