Sullivan County Lavender Festival To Feature Market, Plein Air Painting And More

Even though we’re enjoying spring within the Hudson Valley, we can think ahead for summer. Thankfully, we have already been experiencing the warm weather and sunshine. I’m looking forward to more of that and some fun summer activities in our area!

What Fairs And Festivals Can We Attend This Summer In The Hudson Valley?

Some of my favorite summer activities are attending local fairs and festivals. There’s a special sense of joy, excitement, and nostalgia that comes with the experience! I especially love the fair food, the lively atmosphere and all the unique attractions at Hudson Valley fairs and festivals.

In addition to our favorites including the Orange County Fair in Middletown and the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, let’s also branch out to other ones this summer. The Saugerties Food Truck Festival will be at Cantine Veterans Memorial Field in Saugerties. This event will take place on July 3, 2026 from 4pm to 9pm.

We can also attend The Vintage In The Hudson Valley Festival at Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz.. This event will take place on July 11, 2026 and July 12, 2026.

Sullivan County Lavender Festival To Feature Market, Air Painting And More

As soon as I saw a lavender festival in the Hudson Valley, I was excited! I’ve been to lavender fields before and they are truly so beautiful. Thankfully, we can take in all of the natural beauty at this upcoming lavender festival in Sullivan County.

There will be a Lavender Festival & Artisan Market at Winterton Farms in Bloomingburg, NY. We can attend this event on June 27, 2026 and June 28, 2026 from 12pm to 5pm.

Winterton Farms is a locally and family owned farm. They have their own produce, maple and of course, lavender farm for us to enjoy. Winterton Farms shared that they offer classes and tours as well. They also mentioned that they,

“We pride ourselves on preserving the natural landscape along with using only what nature gave us to foster the growth of our plants, trees, and products.”

Amen to that! This farm also has a brewery on site that offers craft beers. We can visit Two Farms Brewing the next time that we visit Winterton Farms.

What Can We Experience At The Lavender Festival In Bloomingburg, NY In June?

The Lavender Festival & Artisan Market at Winterton Farms in Bloomingburg is an event for the entire family! There will be local vendors on site for us to shop from in addition to food and drinks. We can check out their workshops and watch plein air planting during this festival, how cool!
