Spirit Halloween Returns to The Hudson Valley For Spooky Season 2026

The time is now!

Spirit Halloween locations are officially open across the U.S. including the 10 locations around the Hudson Valley.

If you missed it, this year's theme is Camp Harbor Lake which draws inspiration from 80s horror movie and campfire tales. In a press release Spirit Halloween CEO Steven Silverstein said:

"Our fans count down the days until Jack the Reaper appears and our doors open. We're thrilled to officially welcome them to Camp Harbor Lake for the 2026 season.

With that being said, we had to do a walkthrough of the new location and theme for 2026.

Silverstein added in the press release "For many Halloween fans, visiting Spirit has become an annual tradition and the unofficial start of the season."

The statement continued:

We take great pride in being part of that tradition, while continuing to create new reasons to be excited each year. From our immersive in store experience and industry-leading animatronics to exclusive costumes and one-of-a-kind décor, there's something for every Halloween fan to discover."

So we headed to the Poughkeepsie Galleria to experience Camp Harbor Lake. Check it out:

I scare easily, so no. I did not step on the interact button with the animatronics, but you can!

Spirit Halloween is officially open at the Poughkeepsie Galleria. You can enter on the upper level near Macy's...if you're brave enough!

Will Spirit Christmas Return to the Hudson Valley in 2026?

While Halloween season has yet to really begin, some folks are already thinking ahead to the holiday season.

Will Spirit Christmas open back up in the Hudson Valley?

In years past the festive holiday pop up had a location in Poughkeepsie. The first year it was located at where the old Bed, Bath and Beyond was located on South Road.

Then last year it was located in the Shoppes at South Hills Plaza.

However, both of those locations are currently occupied with new businesses. What does that mean for Spirit Christmas?

Well, we don't have any official answers yet. But we've seen some social media posts that suggest Spirit Christmas will be located in Newburgh this year.

Once that information is made public, we'll make sure to update you!
