Spirit Christmas Is Taking Over a New Hudson Valley Location in 2026
Who's Ready for The Holiday Season?
Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé are somewhere defrosting right now. Are you ready to start talking about the holiday season?
We are!
Looks like Spirit Christmas is heading back to the Hudson Valley for the 2026 holiday season in a brand new location.
Where Will Spirit Christmas Pop Up in The Hudson Valley for 2026?
At some point in 2024 Spirit Halloween revived an old idea they had called Spirit Christmas.
They opened 8 locations in the northeast, including a location right here in the Hudson Valley. By 2025, Spirit Christmas expanded to 30 locations across the U.S.
Spirit Christmas first opened in the Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie at the former Bed, Bath and Beyond location in Poughkeepsie in 2024. Then, in 2025 they opened a pop up location in the Shoppes at South Hills Plaza.
However, both of those locations are currently occupied. So where will Spirit Christmas takeover for 2026?
They're heading to Orange County.
Spirit Christmas will open in November 2026 at 39 N Plank Road in Newburgh, right next to the Dollar Tree.
As we learn more about Spirit Christmas 2026 opening date and store details we'll make sure to update you here!
Okay, let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's still only October!
Halloween Fun is in Full Swing Across the Hudson Valley
As soon at the calendar flipped to October, the Hudson Valley flipped the switch on Spooky Season.
Decorations were up, Trunk-or Treating events were posted about and, most importantly, Spirit Halloween locations across the region opened their doors.
It's become quite the tradition for families to visit their local spirit Halloween location to check out the costumes, get decorating ideas, and get scared!
Each year the bigger Spirit Halloween locations create a walk-through interactive display. And this year is no different.
There are about 10 locations in and around the Hudson Valley region that you can visit. We checked out the one in the Poughkeepsie Galleria decked out in the Camp Harbor Lake display.
Spoiler Alert: It was kind of scary!
