
Hudson Valley Post Office Will Close For Good
The post office located in the Town of Ulster, NY, is closing for the final time in May.
For many years, the Hudson Valley Mall on Ulster Ave. in the Town of Ulster was one of the area's best malls, offering customers the chance to walk around and shop at a variety of stores. Sadly, today the mall is a shell of its former self, as many of its stores have closed and moved out.
Hudson Valley Mall Loses Another Business
The mall at 1300 Ulster Ave, Kingston, NY, is set to lose one of its last remaining businesses as the United States Postal Service has announced that the Hudson Valley Mall Post Office is closing for good. According to the Daily Freeman, the post office inside the mall will close for the last time on Thursday, May 29th.

Folks who receive mail at the mall post office will have their mail shifted to other nearby post offices, including the Kingston Post Office, located at 90 Cornell St., which is over 3 miles from the mall. The transition will begin on Friday, May 30th.
Hudson Valley Mall Post Office Closing
The USPS didn't give a specific reason for the closure but did thank its mall customers during this transition, saying, "The postal service appreciates your understanding and cooperation during the transition."
What's Left at the Hudson Valley Mall?
Once the post office closes, the mall will be down to approximately ten tenants including Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, NCG Cinema, Health Quest, HVM Dental and a few more according to the malls website.
