Filming Wraps in Hudson Valley on New Netflix Show Starring Tina Fey, Steve Carell

Netflix Show Films Across Hudson Valley

In October 2024, we heard rumblings of a new Netflix show filming in the area. There was then a casting call released asking for background actors to film in Poughkeepsie.

The production was called The Four Seasons. After doing some digging, we found out that it was a Netflix series starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell.

According to Tudum, a Netflix run website, The Four Seasons is a remake of a movie from 1981 directed by Alan Alda, starring Carol Burnett and Rita Moreno. In the movie they follow three couples that go on vacation together every season, but it all turns upside down when one couple divorces.

Tina Fey, Steve Carell Support Local Dutchess County Business

Soon after rumors started to swirl of a new production in the area, we received somewhat of a confirmation.

In early October 2024, Tina Fey was spotted dining at the popular Yankee Clipper Diner on Main Street in Beacon. The photos were shared by Yankee Clipper on Instagram, where they thanked the actress for stopping by and taking a picture with the staff.

Then, a day or 2 later, the same diner shared pictures of the staff with Steve Carell after he stopped in for a bite to eat.

Needless to say, that was all the confirmation we needed to hear.

The Four Seasons Wraps Filming in the Hudson Valley

Filming took place over the course of about 2 months, from October through the beginning of November. According to Hudson Valley Film Commission on Facebook, The Four Seasons filmed in the following towns across the region:

Arlington
Beacon
Cold Spring
Hopewell Junction
Fishkill
Kent
Newburgh
Putnam Valley
Poughkeepsie
Warwick

On Facebook Hudson Valley Film Commission adds "Super grateful for the kind words from Tina Fey, whose TV series THE FOUR SEASONS, just finished production in Dutchess, Orange and Putnam Counties."

The post shares this quote from Tina Fey:

"Thank you for everything you do. We love shooting in the Hudson Valley."
Along with Fey and Carell, The Four Season series on Netflix stars Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, and Kerri Kenney-Silver. The production crew consisted of local crew members and background actors.
As for a release date, we have yet to hear anything. But we'll keep our eyes peeled.
