Beacon's Newest Shopping and Wellness Destination is Now Open

Main Street in Beacon is growing by the day. Recently a new storefront opened up called GiftMeSoul.

Owner Elisabeth Noel Jones has created a space that blends thoughtfully selected retail with an immersive wellness experience. We stopped by GiftMeSoul at 544 Main Street and Beacon and were welcomed into the bright open store, stocked with everything from tarot cards and fragrances to incredible artwork and books all for sale.

Elisabeth shared with us that she was looking for a change from the New York City, Westchester area. She wanted to work on a Main Street type area and live in nature...Beacon was calling her name.

After about a year of waiting for real estate to pop up, the location at 544 Main Street was vacant and looking for a new owner. Enter Elisabeth and GiftMeSoul.

They officially opened in July of 2026 and are welcoming their Hudson Valley neighbors in with open arms.

Not only is GiftMeSoul a welcoming shopping destination, it's also home to The Morphus Journey Lounge Chair. Have you heard of this?

The Morphus Journey Lounge Chair Experience Available in Beacon, NY

When I visited GiftMeSoul, Elisabeth introduced me to The Morphus Lounge Chair.

I've never heard of this before, but now I'm locked in. Morphus is a system "that guides the brain and body into optimal states for nervous system regulation" according to the GiftMeSoul website.

Guest will lay in the lounge chair wearing sound canceling headphones and goggles. Morpheus uses "synchronized vibration, light, and sound" that will help shift restorative brainwave patterns.

The chair, through self-guided and guided mediation, promotes calm, recovery, and balance which in turn will help your sleeping habits, reduce stress and improve your over all well being.

We focused on body renewal and creativity. I sat for about 20 minutes with a guided mediation and it really was an incredible experience.

I also slept through my first 2 alarms the next morning, so I think it's starting to work.
