Living in the Hudson Valley there is a lot of things we get to enjoy thanks to Mother Nature. You may think that most of those things are only for the warm weather months but there is one thing that happens every year around this time you don't want to miss.

Welcome to Maple Sugar and Maple Syrup season in the Hudson Valley. Our area is home to loads of Sugar Maple trees and this is the time of year we get to experience how what is inside a maple tree becomes a sweet treat we enjoy on pancakes and more.

Nature Center Offers Maple Sugar Tours in Cornwall, New York

I am always surprised when I discover people who don't realize Maple syrup comes from maple trees. Next time you are driving around see if you can spot trees in the woods with tubes strung between them and buckets hanging off them, that is maple syrup in the making.
