Dave Portnoy Goes on a Pizza Tour in The Hudson Valley

The weekend of September 26th, 2026, was a wet one across the Hudson Valley as we were hammered with a nor'easter.

One may say that a nor'easter is perfect pizza weather. It looks like Dave Portnoy had the right idea and stopped at a few Dutchess County pizzerias.

We first saw this post from Hudson & Packard in Poughkeepsie:

The team at Hudson & Packard wrote: "Just a normal Saturday at H&P…👀 Thanks for stopping by, Dave! Now we wait."

Shortly after that photos, we saw ANOTHER local spot sharing a Portnoy encounter: Pipinellis Pizza:

But wait! There's more!

Portnoy was then seen at the newest pizzeria in Fishkill Mommò Pizza Napoletana:

These visits weren't just because the Barstool founder and president was hungry, he was doing it all for his One Bite Pizza reviews.

One Bite, Everyone Knows The Rules: Hudson Valley Edition

Most people are familiar with Portnoy's famous pizza reviews. Unless of course you've been living under a rock. if so...let us explain.

Portnoy goes to a pizzeria, orders a whole pie, takes it out to the front of the establishment and then takes a bite of the pizza and gives it a 1 through 10 review.

Editors note: one bite is actually several bites and it's never a flat score of 7 or 8 ( those are rookie scores).

What Did Dave Portnoy Rate the Dutchess County Pizzerias?

As of Monday September 28th, 2026, Dave Portnoy and Barstool have not released their ratings for the 3 Dutchess County pizzerias they visited.

With that being said, we'll make sure to share the in-depth reviews as soon as their released.
