A Hudson Valley chiropractor and his wife were arraigned on multiple counts of child pornography in Kingston, New York.

A lengthy New York State Police investigation has led to a prominent Kingston, NY chiropractor, John Boyle, and his wife Danielle Schofield to face charges of allegedly promoting and possessing sexual performances by children according to the Daily Freeman.

Chiropractor Faces Child Pornography Charges in Kingston, New York

33-year-old John Boyle, who runs Boyle Family Chiropractic in uptown Kingston, was charged with two felony counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, along with one felony count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child less than 17.

The Times Union is reporting that the obscenity charges relate to "material" that Boyle allegedly possessed and promoted that depicted necrophilia, bestiality and bondage involving children potentially as young as 4.

Sajaa Ahmed of the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office told the Freeman that

"Boyle was found in possession of hundreds of images and videos containing child sexual abuse material and had shared several of the images via text message as well as mobile phone applications Session and Telegram with unknown parties."

 

Boyle was released after posting a $200,000 bond

Wife of Kingston Chiropractor Charged

33-year-old Danielle Schofield was charged Tuesday with promoting a sexual performance by a child less than 17, a felony. In addition, Schofield was previously charged in November in the town of Ulster Court with two felony counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child less than 17. She was released on her own recognizance.

The couple is due back in Kingston City Court located at 1 Garraghan Drive, on April 15th.
