
Parking Attendant At Popular New York Venue Pockets Nearly $5K
A parking lot attendant at an extremely popular New York arena (concert and sports venue) has been accused of scamming visitors out of nearly $5,000 over the past several months, pocketing money that should have gone to the venue.

In fact, as I've become older, i've been more inclined to pay extra just for the convenience of having a reserved spot, typically closer to the entrance of the venue, and not having to worry about where to park when there are thousands of other attendees doing the same.

UBS Arena Parking Lot Attendant Accused of Stealing Thousands
News broke this week of a parking lot attendant at Long Island's UBS Arena, and a scam that took place more than 100 times since April of 2024.
According to News 12 Long Island, the UBS parking lot attendant now named as Tremayne Brown, offered visitors to the popular arena (home of the New York Islanders), a discount on parking, and then had them pay through an electronic payment app.
It was alleged that Brown engaged in this practice 125 times since April of 2024, and in total, has been accused of stealing nearing $5,000 in parking lot fees from UBS Arena.
News 12 reports that Brown recently pleaded not guilty to grand larceny and falsifying business records, but the story is still developing at this time.
