7000+ Hand-Carved Jack-o-Lanterns Light Up Westchester, New York

Last year, I took a tour of The Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor for my birthday, and let me tell you, it was one of the most beautiful and exciting experiences that I've had! So, you know I'll be back this year once things open up! Not just that, but celebrate their 20th year doing the blaze!

The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze Returns to Van Cortlandt Manor

The Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze at Van Cortlandt Manor returns in the Hudson Valley starting Friday the 13th, September 13th and goes through November 17th. Last year, that was perfect for me because I wasn't able to go in the heat of Spooky Season, so I went around my birthday in November.

Meander through an 18th-century landscape and discover a breathtaking display of more than 7,000 illuminated jack o’ lanterns—all designed and hand-carved on site by their team of artisans. As of last year, you can see the twirling pumpkin Ferris wheel and take in the gourd-eous circus sideshow! The display is complete with synchronized lighting and an original soundtrack, this one-of-a-kind event is not to be missed!

All proceeds from Blaze and our other Halloween events support the programs of Historic Hudson Valley, a non-profit education organization. Even if you don't think you'll be able to attend the event before Halloween because you are just too busy, don't worry because the Blaze is open until November 17th!
