I’ve been to the Borscht Belt Museum in Ellenville, NY and loved learning about this time period and the history of the area. I’ll have to add these markers to my must see experience within Sullivan County.

The Borsht Belt Historical Marker Project made a post on social media highlighting their newest addition. They explained,

PARKSVILLE! Yesterday we unveiled our Parksville historic marker, and what a moment it was.”

The Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project was eager to share that this area was a farming community that then became a popular destination within the Catskills. This marker highlights the resorts in the area along with entertainment locations during the Borscht Belt era. Hotels, bungalows and more were also included.
