Hudson Valley Teen Killed in Two-Car Crash on New York Road
A Hudson Valley is dead after a crash that left others with serious injuries.

On Tuesday around 9:50 a.m., New York State Police responded to a two-car collision on State Route 55 in the town of Liberty.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Toyota Camry, operated by Jake Eherts, 19, of Liberty left the south shoulder while traveling east on State Route 55, reentered the road and traveled into the westbound lane with the passenger side of his vehicle facing oncoming traffic, police say.
A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Pick-Up truck was traveling west and was unable to avoid hitting the Camry. Eherts was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to New York State Police
The unnamed occupants of the pick-up truck were both transported to Garnet Medical Center in Catskill with fractures and internal injuries.
