I thought to myself that I don’t remember seeing a sign near a popular road in Ulster County, NY. When I first saw the sign, the word kismet caught my attention. I was recently chatting with someone about the meaning of the word, kismet and how it refers to fate or destiny. The sign that I saw which made me feel as if I discovered a hidden gem was, the Kismet House.
This is a venue that's located in Clintondale, NY. I looked up the Kismet House and loved this “hidden gem” that I discovered. On TheKnot.com, the Kismet House is referred to as the “Hudson Valley’s Newest Wedding Hideaway”. I agree with them that this destination is most definitely a hideaway.

The location is perfect for a relaxing and beautiful wedding outdoors in the Hudson Valley. This would be a dream come true for anyone who loves apple orchards and being in mother nature.
The pictures of weddings on the ground of the Kismet House look enchanting. They offer ceremonies by the pond, their red barn, on the lawn and I love the idea of being able to venture on their 10 acres. As I continued to look through this hidden venue in the Hudson Valley, I got excited about their rooms. They offer an escape into their Apple Cider Donut House and Apple Pie House.

What Other Wedding Venues Are Located In The Hudson Valley?
In addition to the magical vibes at the Kismet House, there are so many options for couples who are getting married in the Hudson Valley.
Those who love historic sites and charm could be into the Silk Factory in Newburgh, The Thayer Hotel at West Point and the Bear Mountain Inn and Spa.
I would choose somewhere outside including Pioneer Farm in Warwick or Meadow Ridge on Hudson in Coxsackie, NY.
It was interesting that I was chatting about the word kismet and I came across this hidden gem in Ulster County, NY. I’m thinking that maybe this article will find someone who’s looking for a venue to host a special occasion within Ulster County, NY. I suppose this was kismet after all!
