This fan favorite TV series was first released in the 1950’s. Today, fans still watch this show and may possibly know every single episode.

I have always watched this show during the fourth of July weekend marathon and the ones that they have for New Year’s Eve as well.

How Is The Twilight Zone Related To New York State?

The Twilight Zone was created by Rod Serling. Serling was also the writer and host of the Twilight Zone. This TV series not only brought comedy and drama but the overall idea of fantasy onto the big screen.

I love watching The Twilight Zone and learning about the morals, values behind each episode. It also gives us a different perspective of things.

Twilight Zone fans know that this popular TV series had ties to New York state. Rod Serling was born in Syracuse and later lived in Binghamton, NY.

In the episode “Walking Distance”, a man witnessed himself at a younger age, where he grew up. He also spent time on a carousel in a park.

It’s said that this episode was inspired by a gazebo and carousel in Binghamton, NY and of course, I had to visit! Guests can visit the Recreation Park in Binghamton, NY to see a part of Twilight Zone history and plaque on site.

Do You Know The Twilight Zone Episodes That Include New York State Towns?

There’s been plenty of times where I’ve been watching the Twilight Zone and said out loud, “Hey, that’s New York state!”.

In the Mirror Image episode, they mention Cortland, NY. During The Odyssey of Flight 33, the New York World’s Fair gets some love. In another fan favorite episode of The Midnight Sun, actor describe Ithaca, NY and also Syracuse too.

However, I haven’t heard of any relating to the Hudson Valley area. I’ll have to watch some more to see if they’re included.

Thankfully, we can join a Twilight Zone party in the Hudson Valley and I’m excited!
