Summer begins this month and it's also the return of exciting events in the Hudson Valley. From festivals to carnivals and more, we'll soon be able to sip on fresh squeezed lemonade and get our hands on some fried dough!

What Festivals Can We Look Forward To In The Hudson Valley?

America The Beautiful Festival will take place on Saturday June 14, 2025 from 11am until 9pm. The second day is on Sunday June, 15, 2025 from 10am until 7pm. This special event will celebrate the Army’s 250th birthday and honor military members, veterans and more.

There will also be a carnival on the same site from Thursday June 12, 2025 until Saturday June 15, 2025. All of these festivities will be located at 517 Neversink Drive in Port Jervis, NY.

Another festival we can join is the Borscht Belt Festival which took in over 8,000 people last year. On Saturday June 26, 2025 and Sunday July 27, 2025, this event will take place from 10am until 4pm in Ellenville, NY.

We have a third festival that we can put on our calendars in the Hudson Valley.

Dragon Races, Flower Making And More At This Hudson Valley Festival

The Dragon Boat Festival will take place in the Village of Otisville at Veterans Memorial Park. This event is on Saturday, June 28, 2025 with a starting time at 11am and goes through 6pm. This is something that all ages can enjoy together with free admission.

There will be prizes on site for guests to win along with learning about Chinese medicine and calligraphy. They will also have Chinese food options on site as well. A bounce house and games are also available at The Dragon Boat Festival.

I would be most excited for their land dragon boat race, live performances and lotus flower making!

What Can Guests Also Do In The Otisville, NY Area?

While in the Otisville, NY area, guests can also visit Bashakill Vineyards in Wurtsboro. Also within driving distance, a trip to Stagecoach Trails Alpacas could be fun too!

I love all of the events and activities we have available to us in the Hudson Valley, especially during the summer.
