It’s no surprise that this Hudson Valley business received great recognition. I’ve always thought about how friendly and helpful the employees were that have worked under this company.

In April 2025, the exciting news was submitted on this company’s website. Recently, I also saw this sign up in one of their locations and wanted to share their efforts as well.

Congratulations to Stewart’s Shops! They deserve the recognition of the ‘Best Workplace'. This has been the 8th time that Stewart’s has been recognized for being ‘Top Workplace’ by Albany Times Union newspaper.

Stewart shared that they employ over 5,000 people and help run over 300 stores within New York state along with New Hampshire and even Vermont!

They also shared additional information about Stewart’s

“ Our employees, who we call partners, own 40 percent of the company. That is one of the many factors that set Stewart apart.”

Stewart's Shops Continue To Get Recognition In New York State

Along with their latest achievement, Stewart's has gotten love in the past.

Stewart’s has also dominated in the ice cream world as well. One of their fan favorite ice cream flavors was voted the best within New York state. Their Philly Vanilla has claimed this victory and it makes sense, it’s delicious!

I’ve noticed that some of Stewart's locations are hiring. For those who go into this job field, at least they’ll know about the healthy work environment that’s encouraged in stores.

On their website, it highlights that they’re hiring Part-Time, Retail Sales Associates in several locations throughout New York state. Some of these locations include Hudson, Albany, Red Hook, New Paltz, NY and more.
