More Thrilling Hudson Valley Firehouse Events for the Whole Family
With October underway, there will be lots of things happening at Hudson Valley fire departments that will be fun for you and, at the same time, help the firehouse raise money. Some will have Halloween events, others will be doing fire safety events, and yummy dinners. I want to make sure you know about events near you, so each week I share a list.
This week, I have found lots of ways for you to help your local fire department, and I also want to remind you that they could use your help too. If you can volunteer, this is a perfect time to stop in and see how you can help. I also want to remind you that we are under a burn ban across all of New York State, so please keep that in mind. Your local fire department can help you understand what that means for your community.
