One of my favorite parts about summer in the Hudson Valley is the endless events we can attend.

From fairs to festivals, outdoor concerts and more, we could never get bored!

What Fairs And Festivals Can You Attend In The Hudson Valley This Summer?

I have a list of all the events that I’m planning on attending in our area, I don't want to miss a thing, haha. The Dutchess County Fair will take place in Rhinebeck while the Ulster County Fair will be in New Paltz, NY.

The Borscht Belt Fest will take place in Ellenville and the Mid Hudson Comic Con will be in Poughkeepsie.

While we may know about these popular events to experience, we cannot forget about one that always draws in thousands of visitors and is highly rated.

Top Rated Summer Festival Returns To Ulster County, NY

When in Rosendale, you should experience this! In Rosendale, I love walking through the main street, stopping at Stewart’s for ice cream and visiting a local eatery. There’s Truss and Trestle and Creekside Bar and Bistro that are worth visiting.

We can also visit this Ulster County area for the Rosendale Street Festival! Be sure to mark it in your calendars for Saturday July 19, 2025 and Sunday, July 20, 2025 to attend.

I love live, local music and we can enjoy this at the Rosendale Street Festival because there’s going to be over 100 bands during this event. The live music begins at 12pm each day.

What Else Can Attendees Experience At The Rosendale Street Festival?

In addition to live music, we can look forward to getting food from local vendors along with drinks as well. Fresh squeezed lemonade and zeppoles are always my favorite options at fairs and festivals.

There will also be cooling stations on site and this event is rain or shine. The best part about this festival is that admission is free although donations are accepted. Parking is also free.
