This year will be the 69th season the Hi-Way Drive-In Theatre off Route 9W in Coxsackie is in operation. It was originally built in 1960 by the Klein brothers who then sold it to the Babcock family.

Roger and Sharon Babock have operated the drive-in movie theatre for years, but have decided its time to retire and they want to pass on the drive-in to someone else.

"While the Hi-Way Drive-In Movie Theatre remains open, the Babcocks are now looking forward to retiring when the drive-in is acquired by the next generation of outdoor movie theatre owner-operators," the family states on the theatre's website.

Keller Williams listed the drive-in for $975,000. The four-screen drive-in movie theater features a full menu snack bar, handicap accessible restrooms, double features on each of the 4 screens, maintained grounds, parking for 600 spaces, according to the listing.

After the winter break, the Hi-Way Drive-In Theatre will open for the season in the Spring of 2020.
