Free Festival Taking Over Hudson Valley Beach This Summer

It’s the season where we can enjoy fairs, festivals and outdoor events in the Hudson Valley. Summer offers us a wide variety of options to enjoy in our area.

We’ve been able to attend the Orange County Fair in Middletown so far along with the Ulster County fair in New Paltz. In August, we can also look forward to going to the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck.

There’s also other exciting events that we can attend as well.

Exciting Festival Taking Over Hudson Valley Beach This Summer

A festival on a beach? Sign me up! I love being on the beach and I know it would be a lot of fun to attend an event on one as well.

A festival will take over a Hudson Valley beach this summer. The 6th Annual Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival will take place at Kingston Point Beach on August 16, 2025 from 12pm-7pm.

What Will The Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival Offer?

Those who attend the Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival can experience the

“rich culture of the West Indies, entertainment, and vendors.”

This free Kingston, NY festival will have performances from The Don Don, Juma Sultan, Nusa Entertainment and more.

On site, guests can also enjoy food from local vendors and Caribbean cuisine. There will also be activities and games for kids.

The Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival is known for being

“One of Ulster County’s largest multicultural celebration”

This free festival also brings in the community together to celebrate culture, music and more. I love the idea of island vibes and music at the Hudson Valley Caribbean Festival, I want to go!

What Can Festival Attendees Do In The Kingston, NY Area?

There’s plenty of things for festival attendees to do near Kingston Point Beach after this show. Be sure to head to Kingston’s Downtown Rondout Waterfront district.

Be sure to explore the Hudson River Maritime Museum and the Trolley Museum of New York.

Nearby, grab some tea or coffee at Half Moon Rondout Cafe Coffee And Donuts. Foodies can visit Savona’s Trattoria & Bar for delicious Italian food and stroll along the waterfront to take in the beautiful views.

Spending time outdoors in the Hudson Valley is one of my favorite things, I also enjoy exploring different attractions and new experiences.

I took part in the Hudson River Cruises Sunset Cruise out of Ulster County, NY. Being on the Hudson River, seeing historical sites and soaking in the fresh, summer air was uplifting.

This is the only way that history buffs, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts can experience these 5 sites along the Hudson River.
