First-Time Campers in New York Can Win a Free Weekend Outdoors

The New York New York Department of Environmental Conservation just announced that they will be bringing back their first-time camper program for the 2023 outdoor camping season. According to their press release, families in New York that have never camped before will have an opportunity to camp outdoors before investing in their own camping gear. Interested families can register right now for a fully stocked campsite at a select DEC-operated campground for an assigned weekend this summer.
