Dutchess County Fair Announces New And Exciting Attraction

For some, it's a tradition that they take part in every summer. For example, I go to this Hudson Valley fair every year and have been doing this since I was a kid.

There’s something SO fun about fair season. The weather is warmer, there's the smell of fried dough and baked goods and freshly squeezed lemonades are always available. There’s also a sense of nostalgia at our local fairs as well.

The rides, games and energy of the Dutchess County Fair makes you feel as if you’re a kid again. I also enjoy all of the vendors who sell a variety of options including soaps and lotions along with locally made jewelry and more!

What Is The Dutchess County Fair?

The Dutchess County Fair shared interesting information about its past. They included that in the 1840’s, the Dutchess County Agricultural Society was first put together. Their idea was meant

“to continue the development of agriculture, household manufactured items, and domestic produce."

Each year, families continue to gather at the Dutchess County Fair and are able to spend the entire day, having fun!

Dutchess County Fair Announces New And Exciting Attraction For 2025

The Dutchess County Fair made an exciting post on social media highlighting their new attraction for 2025. They will have a new ride, Colossus!

The Dutchess County Fair included,

“Bigger thrills, brighter lights, and non-stop excitement are coming your way with the brand new ride -Colossus!”

The Dutchess County Fair will take place at the fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY from August 19, 2025 until August 24, 2025.

What Can Guests Do At The Dutchess County Fair Besides Enjoy Rides?

There’s so much to do at The Dutchess County Fair and there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

There will be performances from comedians, and musicians such as George Birge, Roots & Boots and more. I love seeing the stilt walkers and grabbing some fresh squeezed lemonade!

There’s plenty of vendors who will be selling fair food and others that will have merchandise, gifts and more.

The rides and games are always exciting at The Dutchess County Fair along with visiting the farm animals!
