"Last Call" at Popular Wappingers Falls Bar Closes Their Doors

Back in May of 2016 a new wine bar opened their doors in the heart of the Village of Wappingers Falls.

After that moment, Di'Vine Wine Bar immediately became a hot spot for wine lovers and those looking for a relaxing night out on the town. For the last 10 years, Di'Vine has been voted the Best Wine Bar in the Hudson Valley in Hudson Valley Magazine.

Christina and Casey created a cozy environment for adults to enjoy wine and local craft beer with amazing views of the falls.

Sadly, it's time to say goodbye.

On social media, Christina and Casey wrote in a statement "After 10 incredible years, we are making the bittersweet decision to close this cherished chapter of our lives and step into retirement."

They go on to add that it wasn't an easy decision "as di’Vine has been so much more than just a business to us. It’s been our dream come to life."

While no final closing date was given, it looks like they have a schedule of live music up until November 28th, 2025.

Comments of Support Pour In For Di'Vine Wine Bar

You can tell a lot about a business by how neighboring businesses react to news of their closure.

It sounds like Di'Vine Wine Bar was truly one of a kind. The team across the street at County Fare wrote in the comment section:

Thank you for being an amazing part of this village. Thank you for showing all your guests such a great time and for bringing so many people to our village for a night out. And thanks for letting us piggy back all your amazing music acts over the years.

Rooted Yoga added "While all of Wappingers and beyond is heartbroken, wishing you nothing but the best in this next chapter of your life."

Other comments from former patrons include "Definitely a favorite place of ours. Sad for us, happy for you! Congratulations and cheers to all" to "What you’ve built will be a tough act to follow ❤️ but let’s hope it continues Cheers to you all"

Needless to say, Di'Vine Wine Bar will be missed when they do close their doors for good.

Could Di’Vine Wine Bar Continue Its Legacy in Wappingers Falls?

Maybe it's not "goodbye" and it's just an "I'll see you later."  At the end of their goodbye message, Di'Vine adds they're open to passing the torch.

They write "If there’s anyone out there who feels a call to continue what we’ve built — to carry on the spirit, vibe, and community that makes di’Vine so special" to reach out to them on the sale of the wine bar that fits so perfectly in the Village of Wappingers.

di'Vine concludes:

It would mean so much to us to see it live on in good hands and to meet you all on the other side of the bar.

Keep an eye on their social media accounts for any future updates.
