New Paltz Family Invites Visitors To FREE ‘Creepy Hollow’ Trail
A New Paltz family who loves Halloween is inviting visitors to share in their passion for the spooky holiday with a special haunted themed trail that is free to visit.

5th Annual 'Creepy Hollow' in New Paltz
In an effort to keep up the Halloween spirit during a time when it feels like it may have dwindled, one New Paltz family is preparing for their fifth annual themed trail, and inviting the community to enjoy their holiday fun.
Creepy Hollow, located on Carolyn Drive in New Paltz, is a family initiative, not something put on through any formal group or organization. Averaging about 40-50 trail visitors each year, (depending on how many nights they open Creepy Hollow to the public), this halloween-oriented family tries to improve their handmade trail each year so that it is a different experience for return visitors. The trail itself is family-funded, but thanks to the generosity of visitor donations, the family is able to use any funds donated towards next year's plans.
