COVID Causes New Paltz Toy Drive to go with Plan B

There are certain events every year that I love to share with you mostly because I think you will enjoy them, but also because they are run by a great group of people. One of those events is The Ponies and Toys Toy Drive held annually by Lucky C Stables in New Paltz, New York.

In years past the crew at Lucky C Stable on Yankee Folley Road in New Paltz has held an annual toy drive to benefit Family of New Paltz. They collect toys from all you and offer children making a donation a free pony or horse ride. It has always been a win-win for everyone. Unfortunately, this year they have had to make a few adjustments to how they will be running the toy drive. They are hoping that it will still make it possible for you to donate a toy but they have to go with out the free ride for your donation. They know this will be a disappointment for all who have been involved in the past.

Today (Dec 7th, 2020) Lucky C Stables posted on their Facebook page that they won't be able to have people gather for an event at the barn as they usually do each year. They also have had to cancel the free pony and horse rides with your donation. They realize this news will come as a disappointment, but they are hoping that you will still be able to stop by the farm between now and 3 PM on Saturday December 12th to make a donation. They have set up a big box outside the barn in the driveway where you can leave your greatly appreciated donation. Family of New Paltz is in real need this year so hopefully you will still be able to help out.
