The Candlelight Ghost Encounters will take place on October 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2020.

The night will start off with a special lecture by the State Historic Sites curator when (not to give it all away) something goes wrong and the spirits of the house find themselves released! It is then that the Ghosts share with you their lives, loves, failures and successes.

Will some be scary? Yes. Will some be funny? Of course!  Will all the stories be based on historical facts, yes they will. The evening will take place while guests are sitting on the lawn of the Clermont Historic Site. Around the guest/visitors will be pumpkins and Jack-o-Lanterns that have been carved by the Clermont staff.

It is suggested that you bring your own chair or blanket and dress for whatever the evenings weather is, as this will be an outdoor event.

There will three different 'haunting' each evening, timed at 6, 7, and 8 PM. If you are interested in attending, you will need to purchase your tickets in advance as tickets will not be sold 'at the door,' no walk-ups. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for kids aged 5-12.
