Bear Rehabber In New York Is Still Taking In Cubs
I am happy to report that good work continues at Friends of THe Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center. They are continuing to rehab more bear cubs that have come to the center for help.
Warning: Bear Clubs Get Are Cute But Not Cuddly
The FFFWC, as I like to refer to them, has taken in many small bears and bear cubs so far in 2025. I have been reporting on so many that I have lost track of just how many baby bears they have helped this year.

The FFFWC is one of the few facilities that are licensed to help bears in our area. Since last year, they have helped raise many small bears that have been discovered out in the wilderness of New York alone.
The Friends of the Feathered and Furry Work To Put Animals Back in the Wild
The goal is always to get the bears stabilized and then, when they are strong enough, place them back in the woods so they can rejoin nature. The FFFWC motto is "Let Wild Be Wild". It is always their goal to get any animal they work with back to its natural surroundings.

It is important to note that bears can be very active in the summer. The current heat and humidity we have been experiencing may be causing the bears to move a bit slower, but keep in mind they are out there, and they are cute but also dangerous. Even the youngsters have big claws.
So enjoy our photos and videos of the orphaned and injured bears we rehab, but please DO NOT think for one second these wild animals are truly something to cuddle. Respect nature from a distance. Let Wild Be Wild (via Friends of the Feathered and Furry Wildlife Center)
