When it comes to sporting events in 2020 we haven't had much to look forward to. With that being said a pretty big game is coming to the Hudson Valley in just a few short weeks.

Back in October, it was announced that the yearly Army-Navy game would be held at Michie Stadium in West Point. It's the first time the game will be held at West Point since 1943, which is a pretty big deal.

In the past, the Army-Navy game was held in neutral territory down in Philidelphia Pennsylvania.

Every year for the Army-Navy game each team debuts new uniforms that represent a different part of each branch. Earlier this week the West Point Black Knights released the first images of their uniforms for the big game on social media:

This years Army uniform is in honor of the soldiers of the 25th Infantry Division. Also known as the Tropic Lightning Division, served during the Korean war. Army Football and Nike created a whole website dedicated to the men and women who served in the Tropic Lightning Division and shared their stories.

On the website they say:

We honor the past by re-telling the story of "Tropic Lightning", a story of valor, courage, and sacrifice. Inspired, humbled and motivated by the soldiers that came before us, we don their patches, adopt their mottos and hold their deeds close to our hearts.

The Army-Navy game tradition carries into 2020 live from West Point's Michie Stadium on Saturday, December 12th at 3 pm on CBS.
