Planning a vacation is exciting and it gives us the opportunity to explore this world. The Hudson Valley has a lot to offer including four seasons, the beauty of the area along with the short commute to New York City and more.

While we can probably agree that we love living in the Hudson Valley region, we also enjoy visiting other states and countries. However, for guests who visit the area on vacation or a day trip, there's an easy solution for a smooth travel experience.

Whether if it's a trip to or from the Hudson Valley area or New York City, there's a convenient feature that can save us time and stress.

Do You Have Your Real ID Yet?

Some travelers are aware of what they need to have with them when boarding a flight in the future.

Stewart International Airport made a post on social media reminding travelers that they are required to have a specific ID, drivers license to fly as of May 2025.

They included,

"Starting May 7, 2025, all U.S. travelers will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly domestically."

Be sure to check your drivers license or ID to make sure that you don't need to visit the DMV before vacation.

Affordable Airport Transportation Available In The Hudson Valley

Stewart International Airport shared helpful information on their social media platform about a service that they provide.

They offer the Stewart Airport Express service to travelers. They explained it as being,

"The quickest, easiest, and most affordable way to get between New York Stewart International Airport and NYC (via The Port Authority Midtown Bus Terminal)"

This airport also included that their buses are timed to match flights including PLAY Airlines.

As for pricing, I put Newburgh, NY and New York City into the to and from slots on the website to book a seat on the bus. Either way, I noticed that the pricing starts at around $25.00 for this ride. I would say that this is definitely an affordable option for traveling.

Travelers can also preview the bus schedule with Stewart International Airport.

Stewart International Airport explained that the buses depart and arrive in front of the airport Main Terminal and also in New York City at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

What Do The Bus Services Offer To Guests To And From Stewart International Airport?

I've taken a few shuttle buses before and always had a positive experience. Personally, I think that it's a relaxing experience and it feels good to not stress about driving and traffic.

Stewart International Airport directed the link to Stewart Airport Express for guests to book this service. This ride is non stop, is offered daily and provides seating for over 50 people. Guests can expect a travel time on this convenient bus ride to be estimated at 75 minutes each way.

On the bus, travelers can enjoy WIFI and power options. I always wondered if these buses had bathrooms when I would take shuttles and thankfully, this one does.

Those who are interested in learning more about this requirement can check into the details on Stewart International Airports website.
