7 Blockbuster Movies Allegedly Filmed in Beacon, New York

Who would have thought that these massively popular movies had some ties to the Hudson Valley?

There have been several films and television shows to come out of our region. One of the most popular to come out of the Hudson Valley recently was Mark Ruffalo's award-winning series, I Know This Much is True. The series used several locations in the area and it was hard to miss the crew filming.

Since then Woody Harrelson has been seen all over the Hudson Valley filming another series for HBO called The White House Plumbers and Pretty Little Liars has been casting for a reboot of the series that will air for HBO Max.

Many have called the Hudson Valley the new Hollywood which seems like a fitting name since we've even started to open film studios in the area this past year. Here's a peek at one of them.
