‘Bistro’ in New Paltz Introduces Late Night Sushi Menu
During a time when much of the focus has been on the closing of businesses in the area, it is always nice to hear about a local spot expanding on their offerings.
2025 has already brought some closures, both big box/chain and on the local side, but for this New Paltz benchmark establishment, the new year has brought something new to the menu...and people seem quite excited!

A New Paltz Main Street Staple
There's something pretty magical about the Village of New Paltz. You can find pretty much anything and everything you want or need, or didn't even know you needed, just by walking down Main Street.
Well, now one of the most notorious spots in town will be offering something a little different for their dinner service; Main Street Bistro launches Sushi Bar Bistro.
Known for their amazing breakfast and lunch offerings, the Main Street Bistro in New Paltz has been a fan favorite for decades. A few years back owners Doug and Theresa Thompson put the infamous 'Bistro' on the market, and in late 2023, the business was sold to a new owner, but not a stranger to New Paltz. Mary Le, who also owns Ipho in the village, is the current owner of the Main Street Bistro, and has been introducing some great new menu items, including a new dinner theme.
