The Stewart’s Shops Hack You Can’t Live Without
When I first started commuting to Poughkeepsie, the Mass Pike and Taconic were my daily roller coasters. By the time I reached the Salt Point Turnpike exit, there was one shining beacon waiting for me: Stewart’s Shops at Route 115 and the TSP.
This spot quickly became my routine savior—
my Sunday night reward when I arrived in town and my last meal before heading back to New England for the weekend. While Stewart’s has plenty of solid choices, I’ve found my new favorite: the 2-for-$6 cheeseburger deal.
Now, let's be real. I can’t afford not to grab two of these beauties. I ring 'em up, smile at the ever-friendly cashier, and make my way over to the Fixins’ bar.
Oh yes, Stewart’s is one of the few places cool enough to set out Full bottles of Heinz ketchup and mustard. Respect.
But here’s where things get really interesting.
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get ready for the main event.

THE GRAND SLAMMER OF FLAVOR…
THE FREE HOT DOG MEAT SAUCE CONTAINER!
Yes, I get it. It's technically meant for hot dogs.
There's even a cute little hot dog illustration on it. But rules are made to be bent, my friends
And when the counter guy whispered, “I like your style, man,” I knew I was onto something.
Join me Hudson Valley.
The world is our Cheseburger. And there's free meat sauce for everyone.
