The announcement of local businesses or restaurants closing has been impacting Hudson Valley dining, shopping and services for quite some time. New Businesses Are Popping Up In The Area
At the same time though, just as we are learning about the closures in the area, there have been quite a number of new businesses that have popped up, or announced their grand openings or expansion plans across the Hudson Valley.
Within the past few weeks, locals got pretty excited about the news of a new restaurant coming to a popular spot in the Fishkill Plaza (Shop Rite plaza), in the currently vacant storefront that was once Michael's Sports Bar & Cafe and Whistling Willie's. A Halal based steakhouse called Kanoon Smoked Meat & Steakhouse will soon be serving up a variety of menu items in Fishkill.
In Ulster County, the news of two new businesses has been getting the community excited for what is to come. Little Loaf Bakeshop, whose vegan treats you've been seeing all over at local pop-ups, they are preparing for their very first storefront in New Paltz, while Gardiner Bakehouse has been getting a great deal of praise following their soft opening these past few weeks.
