Something new will soon be cooking at a long-standing Fishkill restaurant that shuttered a few years back. Though the signage for the former Rt-52 restaurant [still] remains on the building, giving locals a glimmer of hope for a comeback, the 'Seasons' signs have been covered with something new, and we now know the name, and theme of what will soon serve the area in this former Fishkill hotspot.

Seasons Restaurant Shutters, 2022

With just two days notice, back in 2022 following a quarter-decade run on Rt. 52 in Fishkill, Seasons Restaurant closed their doors for good. In late January of 2022, a post to social media from former owners Gamal and Diedre Kandeel indicated that the lease for the Season's restaurant was up, and that they would be closing up and retiring just two days later.

For the past three years, though the Seasons Restaurant sign still hung from the building, the space has been vacant, with rumors swirling about what was next for this area of Fishkill that has a lot of traffic, but not many sit-down restaurants.

CASA Mexican Restaurant To Open in Fishkill

The space itself seems to be getting a full makeover, as construction crews work inside and out at 1545 Route 52. A newly hung 'coming soon' banner with CASA 'The Real Taste of Mexico' display a logo with a chili pepper on the exterior of the building.

There doesn't appear to be any website or social media pages for the new restaurant, and based on the logo and signage on the building, it doesn't appear connected to Casa Mexico in Hopewell Junction. We have reached out to confirm.

Local residents on community Facebook forums and local Reddit pages have expressed their desire for a 'decent family owned sit down spot' and 'something with booths,' hopefully CASA will meet those needs.
